These are a little older, but not bad for the price. They have a 10:00 am check out time and the host at check in would not even consider an 11:00 am check out, which is pretty standard in the industry. There is no way they can clean all the units right at 10:00. We also met another host on property that was not a happy person at all! These property hosts seem like a bunch on cranky people that hate life and their jobs. Not sure I would stay here again, even if it is cheaper.

Black Desert Resort exceeded my expectations. The setting is absolutely stunning, with unique lava rock and red cliff views you won’t find anywhere else. The rooms are modern, clean, and very comfortable, and the amenities feel truly upscale.
The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere is both relaxing and luxurious. Even while still expanding, it’s already an incredible place to stay.
Highly recommend for a peaceful, high-end getaway near St. George!

This was such an amazing property! The history was so interesting. I wish we were staying a few more nights to take advantage of all the amenities. Perfect location downtown, we walked all over the downtown area for the few hours we had to explore. I would definitely like to stay at this property again in the future.
