Clean room, friendly staff, nice view. Seems like it was recently renovated. Saw Seals, Otters, etc., in the Bay frequently.
The room (210) was small. I.e., not even a chair to sit in - the only place to sit is on the bed. I realize that they can’t just magically increase the size of the room, but something to know beforehand.
The restaurant is decent. On one night, the service was great - on the next night, it was so-so. Seemed like the waitress was more interested in chatting up the bartender than service.
The cable box in the room had to be reset from time to time - not sure why. You can’t have the sliding door to the balcony open at night because the Seals are barking all the time. Again, not the hotel’s fault, but something to consider.
Parking is limited but we always managed to find a spot nearby. Plenty of shops and restaurants within a short walk.
Don’t mean to come across too negatively, we were not disappointed by the stay!
