"We loved our stay at the old manor house. It is a beautiful and peaceful country setting. We enjoyed the friendly farm animals (dogs and cats). Dario was a very responsive host and helped us graciously with anything. He even provided a tour of his winery for us which we found very interesting. If you are looking for a peaceful country get away then this is the perfect place. It has plenty of outdoor space and fun for a family."

"Property was beautiful and more than sufficent for a large family. It was clean and has most of what you would need for a relaxing stay. The various locations from the house to the patio to the pool and garden allowed for a new setting every day. It is a wonderful place to rest, relax, and get away from it all."

"We visited Bologna for a couple of days, and this home was a lovely spot to stay at. It is near the airport but there is very little noise. Driving past the roundabout for the airport can be a little daunting, but no more than driving elsewhere in Italy! The house is beautifully decorated with art from the owners travels around the world and the home itself is very serene. The owner was extremely helpful and we enjoyed our visit very much."

"Sehr schön eingerichtetes, großzügiges Haus mit tollen alten Möbeln. Alles, was man braucht, ist da. Die Landschaft ist ebenfalls sehr schön, vom Pool hat man einen tollen Blick. Salsomaggiore ist ein hübsches Städtchen. Einziges Manko ist der unbefestigte Weg zum Haus, den man aber mit etwas Übung bewältigen kann."

"Anna was a lovely host. She allowed us early entry and was helpful leading up to our stay. The apartment was very clean and comfortable for two people. The location is what set it apart as it is right in the heart of Bologna. We would definitely stay there again should our travels bring us back."

"We had 11 people for a wonderful week stay at La casa di Daniela. There was amble room for everyone, with a wonderful outside area to dine and an addtional area to sit and chat. The grounds were lovely. The pool looked enticing but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate so we never were unable to take advantage of the pool.We hired a chief, suggested by our host for the first night, who was great. "This was my first time at Hotel Roma in Bologna and I would definitely stay there again. It's a grand old hotel, but it has been updated. The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms and common areas are clean and comfortable. The location cannot be beat! It's in the city center, everything is walkable and the dining, shopping and sights are right outside. "
