“We liked this place so much that we booked it again on our second swing by Bologna. This is the PERFECT base if you are doing the cheese and acetto tours, plus it is a gorgeous classical Italian country villa. The parking is a bit confusing, and the is hardly any signs that point you to the check-in office, but it is a minor issue UNLESS you arrive after 8pm. "It’s a nice old-school hotel which is centrally located between the train station and the old town so ticked all boxes for us. Room was well appointed and dark when it mattered, bed was comfortable and A/C worked well. Only negative is that the mini bar was filled with items that auto charge to your account once you move them, so you can’t fit much of your own personal items in the fridge."
