“You must have a car while visiting this property. Otherwise there is nothing to do. There is a very nice outdoor pool that is not heated. So it must be warm enough outside to enjoy it.
The hotel offers a nice breakfast. There is no bar or restaurant at the hotel. About a half mile walk from the hotel is a very expensive restaurant with a limited menu. I don't believe it is open for lunch. Another reason you need a car.
During check in I noticed a large hose slightly larger than a dryer……

“Superbe emplacement avec une vue imprenable sur le Douro — tout simplement magnifique. Les chambres ainsi que les espaces partagés sont immaculés. On a vraiment l’impression d’être dans un petit B&B chaleureux plutôt que dans un grand hôtel, ce qui rend l’expérience très conviviale et reposante.
L’endroit est aussi très bien situé, à environ 15 minutes en voiture de Peso da Régua, où l’on trouve plusieurs excellents petits restaurants.

“Love the hotel facilities. Boutique hotel feel with very nice decor. Daniel gave us great service at the bar and restaurant while we were there.
The rooms need a bit of updating specially the bathrooms but they were very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view from the balcony. ”

“Probably the nicest and most idyllic place we’ve ever stayed, this was an exceptionally well kept and peaceful location to stay in the Douro. Telmo was so kind and helpful before and during our stay, as were all the staff. We had an excellent tour and tasting, and we decided to eat in both minus (a good decision).
