9.2/10 Wonderful! (11 reviews)
The location of this property was fantastic and made exploring the area very easy. The host was responsive, provided clear check-in instructions, and offered great local recommendations. However, we were quite disappointed that the baby bed we requested was missing upon arrival, which caused a stressful first night.
In addition, the listing misrepresents the actual parking situation. The off-site parking should say that it is 8 minutes away and that is not suitable for an SUV. Our rental SUV couldn't fit so we were forced to rely on paid street parking which took us 45 minutes to find... adding another unexpected arrival hassle and expense. The host needs to update the listing to clearly state that oversized vehicles will require finding another parking location.
Also, the mattress in one of the bedrooms seems to be very old. It is unsupportive, causing us to wake up sore each day. A mattress upgrade would make a huge difference here.
This property has great potential but those were a few areas that fell short of expectations.
