“The actual beds and breakfast at this hotel are very good! The staff is nice and helpful with requested towels and blankets. It is affordable and conveniently located in a beautiful region of the state. Unfortunately, the property also shows many signs of age and dilapidation. In our room, the curtains were torn, the carpets felt, and in places, looked dirty and worn. And the bathroom was need of several minor repairs, the doors stuck and needed paint. It could be cleaner. “We stayed in Galena for the Great Galena Balloon Race and this place was conviently close to the event field and to the historical attractions that we wanted to see. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us and we really enjoyed our stay. Wish we had more time so we could visit the recreation center where the pool is. We definitely recommend this place!”
