"I ended up needing to get a room due to a snow storm and stayed for the night. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the hotel is located near several local restaurants which gave several options for dinner. Due to the snow, some locals were out doing donuts in the nearby parking lots, but that seemed like some abnormal noise. "We came to ride the trails. I liked that we did not have to trailer the machines to the trail head on 2 of the 3 trail systems that we went to. Myrna and family are very friendly. Always asked if we needed anything. They allowed us to arrive early and hang out in the plentiful parking area. This allowed us and our pet to stretch our legs while she was cleaning the place for us. Town’s people are friendly and very appreciative of our business."

"My friends and I needed a house last second and came across Glen’s listing. We weren’t sure what to expect but after getting there and staying in a “ holler” I gotta say it was a cool experience. After seeing the house in town that we could’ve stayed at, we all agreed that we much rather would’ve stayed at this little house. "House is exactly as pictured. Very clean. Caretaker Pete was the best part of this house, he lives across the street and is very very friendly and extremely helpful. The area is rough however he reassured us we were good and all our property would be safe and it was. We went to WV to ride the Hatfield and Mccoys trail system, it was amazing!!! Suggestion for home owner, its time for curtains and a couch."

"The owners were super! Plenty of parking and COVERED parking for your UTV. They had our trail passes ready for us and anything else we needed.(ice,bottled water)Our dog Copper was very comfortable here and loved the dog visits from William and Jennifers dogs as well as the neighbors dogs. It was clean and comfortable. Perfect location for trail riding Bearwallow and Rockhouse. Washer & Dryer made my weekend..I like going home with my clothes already washed!"
