"The Inn was absolutely beautiful. Wish we could have spent some time having a cup of coffee and sitting on the porch. However, the owner was in such a hurry to get us out at exactly 10:00 a.m. I didn't even feel comfortable making a cup of coffee and drinking it as that would have taken us past the official checkout time. They no longer offer paper cups, because " people would take three or four cups of coffee and that was too much." Breakfast was not what you'd expect in a B and B: white bread...

"Ideal location for our girls trip. We were able to shop several antique stores in Taylorsville and Hickory between our days at Emerald Hollow Mine. Home was cozy and quiet and met all our needs. "
