The kids and myself enjoyed the paddle boats! The entertaining area was quite large. Would be great for weddings, family reunions, etc."

"Wow! We absolutely loved our stay at Ann's cabin. Out-of-the way but a short drive to everything we wanted. The location was quiet and peaceful. The house was immaculate and tastefully well-appointed with beautiful art, upscale furniture and superb linens. The beds were comfortable and the internet was blazing fast. Definitely not your average cabin!! Our hostess was available with dining and sight-seeing tips. We have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is at the top of our favorites list."

"We were very happy with our stay at the farm house. One problem we did have was several of our group are elderly and climbing the stairs was too much for them. Except for the master bedroom, all the other bedrooms were upstairs. Needless to say, some people that we thought we would have beds for ended up sleeping on the couch downstairs."

"My bookclub (group of moms) stayed at this property for a weekend girls trip and it was perfect! It was spacious, yet cozy. Plenty of hang out space inside and out! We really enjoyed the fireplace and hot tub! It is a short drive to many different places and activities- we stopped by a few of the wineries on Saturday, yet just far enough away from neighbors and such. The property was clean and as listed. Our whole group would highly recommend and stay here again!"

"Our family drove about 4 hours to Carbondale. It was approximately 10 minutes from the graduation ceremony. It was perfect for all of us. I can’t imagine enjoying the weekend anymore than we did. It was perfect for us to celebrate and enjoy our son’s JD weekend. Thanks for everything!"

"Very nice location perched on top of bluffs and at lease one shelter bluff that Indians once used. Ideal location for getting to lakes for fishing and close to town for awesome pizza. The house itself is set up very nicely, especially with the lower and upper decks, focking chairs, fire pit and enjoyable nature. Will return again for sure."

The living room has a huge curved sectional sofa with room for everyone, and the wide open backyard makes outdoor lounging and grilling a breeze. The location is close to many natural attractions in Shawnee National Forest; there’s lot to see and do."
