While the rooms are somewhat minimalist updated, the hallways are not at all. Outstanding on-site dining. Price value of the room is substantially deficient. In purchasing this booking I concluded an elevated price of $902.00 for each of our 4 nights would provide an exceptional room and overall lodging experience. The property fell short on the lodging side. But the restaurant is wonderful.
As a guideline to you, I offer the following. The fair all (taxes, all fees) in price for lodging is around $300.00 +/- 15% per night at this property. Anything you pay beyond this is just profit harvesting. And has zero value associated with any higher room rate so adjust your expectations accordingly.
My spouse shared his concerns with the GM, and he sent a bottle of champagne which was nice, but this does not correct over selling and under delivering lodging value.
