Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Good house with pool and easy access to beach. Kitchen is well equipped and we used additional refrigerator in the basement. Beds are comfortable, living room sofa (only seating) is not. Large dining table was great for our group of twelve. Maintenance responded well to issue with a/c but lr tv would never work.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pluses to this modest beach house are the pool, proximity to beach, large kitchen and big front porch. Beds are comfy, shared baths are small but decent and large dining table holds 12. Spiral staircase is doable. Due to build up of beach dunes, high tide no longer cuts off beach access at stairs. A hose for foot washing is now provided at stairs to porch (there is also hose under porch at lower level. Big downside is uncomfortable couch, no chairs or lamps in living area. Basement also has no lamps for reading and uncomfortable bench like couch.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The proximity to the beach and the porch are the top features of this home. We love this location in garden city, the more south end. This property definitely needs some TLC, especially being ocean front and the cost. I understand it’s high season but it hasn’t been deep cleaned in a long time. The condition of the couch is embarrassing. There are multiple stains and it’s well past its prime in comfort. I had to clean the ice maker among other things. The covers on the bed must not be washed very often because there were stains. We washed them ourselves. Giant roaches. The trash can smell absolutely disgusting. The WiFi password we were given was incorrect. The tech guy fixed that pretty quickly. The owners may want to consider a new pool maintenance company. I don’t think they swept it at all. The pool was full of sand. And that company also open up all of our pool floats and threw away our kids toys. The realty was very accommodating after that happened and reimbursed us for our things. The downstairs outside bathroom is full of mold. I was afraid to shut the door and breath the air. The kitchen was nice with the new appliances and there was plenty of Ice. We also liked the multiple charging stations. This could be an absolute beautiful property if it was maintained better. If things were improved we would considering staying again because of the location alone.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Well, let's just start that there was a tropical storm that rolled through. Within an hour on day 3, the storm hit. The only road in or out was flooded and we lost power so we left. For our safety and not knowing was going to happen we left due to safety concerns. Not to mention, there were multiple issues with the house. The dryer and oven were both broken. Secondly, the umbrella at the pool did not have a bottom piece. Thirdly, and maybe most importantly, many peoples flights were cancelled for this vacation that could not make it in. Therefore, NONE of us enjoyed the vacation experience at all and feel some sort of refund should be dispersed out of good business practices. PLEASE ADVISE IMMEDIATELY as a human being and not a corporation!!! It would be deeply appreciated. My phone # is 412.720.5052 and would like a response other than the standard reply letter.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ocean Mist is a beautiful house with a wonderful view of the ocean that was just steps from the front porch. The house was clean and bedrooms were a good size. There is a narrow spiral staircase from the first floor to the second floor (where the den and kitchen are located) that is a bit tricky. We just used the outside stairs when taking in suitcases and groceries. Overall, the house was great, and we would probably stay there again.

Not the biggest or fanciest house but very clean, well-stocked kitchen, enough space for 15 of us. Right on the beach in an understatement. I could almost reach the sea from my bedroom window. The pool was great. We all loved and enjoyed our stay. I think the only thing I would have enjoyed was a propane grill. Just easier to use but it did not subtract from How much we loved this home.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our family enjoyed staying at this beach house. We were sorry there wasn't a keurig as advertised and the coffee maker was very small.Unfortunately the pictures of the downstairs was not accurate. The only seating arrangement downstairs is a very short uncomfortable sofa. There was also no TV downstairs. The lower level needs to be updated. The location is nice however we did have problems with people coming over and setting up in front of the house because of the public access.

The house was clean with a well-appointed kitchen. All beds were new with clean linens, and the lower level was newly renovated. The pool was beautiful with many sturdy lounge chairs. Customer service was exceptional! Guests should be aware that the metal spiral staircase can be difficult to manage for some, and all but one interior bathroom are shared. The house is next to beach access which means Saturday and Sunday can be crowded. Our group had a comfortable, memorable vacation!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Because of September hurricane there are changes to house. Walkway from house to beach has no shower/foot wash due to partially completed walkway, making sand travel inside house. There is a hose set up under house but one must still walk through sand to enter pool or house. Lower level has no tile flooring, only sealed concrete. There is only one loveseat for seating and no lamps on lower level. Foosball is a good addition. Upstairs, one of three fans has no light and only works on high making it blow way too much during eating.and playing games. There is no vacuum cleaner. There were no mats inside doors to catch sand or trashcans downstairs so we bought some. Pool is great with upgrade in loungers. All beds were comfy. And closetlike room for outside bath was operational with toilet and shower. With high tide, water did come up to steps but we could beach walk to right but not to left.

House had everything needed for cooking and charcoal grilling. Would recommend emphasizing there is a great charcoal grill / smoker available. It was tremendous for shrimp and fresh fish. As well as burgers and hot dogs for kids.

Our King bed on main level was great!!! Two Queen beds across from us felt like box springs and pretty uncomfortable. As most vacation rentals we have been in it could use a deep cleaning (furniture moved and dusted underneath them, corners and showers deep cleaned)The house as a whole was very nice and met our needs and we had a wonderful vacation there.

All beds were comfortable. Porch chairs were excellent with a variety of rocking chairs, bar height chairs and Adirondacks. The pool was clean and refreshing with nice pool furniture. There are 2 Jack and Jill bathrooms with showers only upstairs, a hall bath downstairs with a tub and another jack and Jill bathroom downstairs with a tub. The 5th bathroom is outside access from the beach. The house has a charcoal grill. The only negative is that high tide comes all the way up to the sea wall, so you have to come off the beach 1-2 hours during high tide.

I was disappointed in the condition of the downstairs floors they left everyones feet very dirty.We had trouble with the Tv's but the rental company came quickly to remedy the problem. The beds were very comfortable.Being on the beach was just the best. The porch was the best. The pool was wonderful. The rental company came in the middle of the week to maintain it.Overall our experience was great.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was perfect for our multi family vacation. We had plenty of space! They location, beach and views was perfection! I loved that the kitchen had plenty if pots, pans, dishes, bowls to use for large crowd as well! The pool was so nice to have for the kids to be entertained when tired of the waves. I highly recommend this house! No complaints!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Definitely could have been cleaned better! Because of Covid we brought cleaning supplies and everyone cleaned there own stuff. Kitchen has everything you need, porch is awesome. the downstairs has very short steps to each room and is a trip hazard. Maybe put a reflective tape in front of each. Pool was great, Sun reflected all day somewhere on it. But the view off the back porch and the ocean so close made you forget any negative issues and turned it into a perfect stay!

Wedding Vacation!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family traveled together as a large group for my wedding. The house was incredible and you can’t beat the views. There were a few minor things (the air on the lower level was poor, pool was ice water, all bathrooms on the “main” level were inside bedrooms) but nothing that we had to call maintenance to inspect. There was plenty of outdoor space for all the kids and adults.

We especially liked the table that accommodated everyone because with 13 people at together. The only draw back was the shared jack and Jill baths for all. The lower level was a little musty smelling. The pool was great and the location to the beach is really a few steps. The porch is to die for. Loved the rockers and high chairs.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved the location of this house. The house from the outside is not that great but the inside is adorable. We thoroughly enjoyed the house with one big exception ..... all of the rooms were extremely hot. The living room area stayed really cold but the air does not circulate well. Unfortunately this would be the reason why I would not stay here again. We all had to go to Walmart to buy a stationary Fans for the rooms.

Amazing house and beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is perfect for a large group. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms is great. But, the most wonderful part is the huge dining table. All of us could sit down for dinner together which was very important to our family. This area of the beach is so wonderful. We watched surfers every morning and played in the waves all day. The pool was perfect for a break from the salt water and sand. Our group included a wide age range so the multiple TVs and the pool table helped keep everyone happy. We would definitely rent this again!
