A luxurious and authentic Muskoka cottage experience awaits you at our newly-built cottage on Lake Rosseau's prestigious and car/bridge accessible Royal Muskoka Island. Kids of all ages will love our flat and level terrain, the all-day sun from our southwest exposure, the protected bay that limits boat traffic and noise, and the gentle sandy shoreline that makes swimming a delight.

Our large open concept living room, dining room and chef's kitchen with cathedral ceiling, large windows all around with stunning long lake views and huge wood burning fireplace makes for comfortable, cozy family time all together.
The deck in front has a dining table and bbq. with long lake views. Weather permitting the best place to dine.

And, at the end of the day, you'll notice that we've taken extra care to ensure your nights are restful. All beds have premium Sealy Posturepedic mattresses and high-quality bedding, and all bedrooms have been sound-proofed to help you enjoy a quiet and restful sleep.


The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and en-suite bathroom, a closet with built-in shelving, a cathedral ceiling, and three sliding glass doors to the deck. Its view is on the lakeside. The other bedrooms have queen-sized beds. The second lakeside bedroom has a satellite TV.

A bunky (on our adjacent lot) provides an extra secluded bedroom away from the main cottage. It’s ideal for teens or anyone seeking a little privacy. It is heated with a thermostat and features a satellite TV, as well as a view of the lake.

Wonderful Fall Weekend
The cottage is beautiful and well situated on a peaceful lake. It has spacious and well equipped. living/kitchen area. The bedrooms are well laid out and comfortable and the bathrooms are luxurious. Since it is Autumn we enjoyed using the wood burning fireplace. The area is great for walking and running and it is a nice drive to Port Carling to look through shops and pick up groceries. It was lovely to sit on the deck and watch the sunset and there were kayaks, paddle boards and a canoe for our use. Our university aged daughter enjoyed using the bunkie as her study! Our hosts were wonderful. We hope to return next year!

We give Earl's place a 5* rating all around. Earl and Linda met us there on check in to give us the tour. The cottage was immaculate, perfect for three families and our two young grandchildren under two. Linda had everything in the cottage for us, including bedding, linens, beach towels etc. The kitchen was well stocked with your everyday needs. The property was beautiful with a walk out to the lake and a sandy area to play with our grandchildren. The dock was a nice way to spend the afternoon. The bay was very quiet at this time of year but you could see the boats go by on Lake Rosseau. Earl had a canoe, paddleboards, kayaks as well. We will definitely return to this paradise in Muskoka. Thanks for everything Earl and Linda.

An absolutely beautiful location. The home is very comfortable for a large group.
The owners of this property are very responsive to all concerns. The home is very clean and comfortable. The fireplace is beautiful. We loved the use of the canoe. We stayed over thanksgiving so we did not swim but we did enjoy sitting on the dock and admiring the lake.

This property, location and host are absolutely phenomenal. They have thought of every detail in rebuilding this house which made for a perfect stay. The main room and kitchen set up is so great with stunning lake views. Also saw tons of deer and a fox. The location is secluded and so relaxing. And the hosts are amazing, so attentive and kind. This place would also be perfect for lake weather with a huge waterfront and lots of water toys. 1000 out of 10. We will be back!! Thank you!!

Our family had a wonderful time at the cottage. The cottage was beautiful and exactly as the pictures depicted. The hosts contacted us before our stay and were kind enough to check in on us. When we planned this get away so many months ago, we envisioned a quiet enclave looking out at the natural beauty and greenery of Muskoka while dangling our feet in the water at the end of a lovely dock...while guess what ? This wonderful cottage offers all that and more. In a nutshell it features: A spacious combined kitchen and great room fully equipped with every household appliance under the sun; Three comfortable bedrooms and newly renovated bathrooms; Close proximity to Port Sandfield, Port Carling, The JW Marriott and any other hi-lights of this stunning area; Deer, porcupines, ducklings, rabbits, toads, and chipmunks frolic throughout Royal Muskoka Island (more of a peninsula). Great showers, air conditioning system, filtered water and more. This list could go on and on. Suffice it to say that my husband , myself and our adult children had fantastic week made possible by wonderful hosts who's conscientious and precise attention to detail put them in a league of their own. Much thanks for making the 5 star vacation of our dreams come true.

You won’t be disappointed with this property. Earl and Linda have a beautiful place on Lake Rousseau and they always answered any questions promptly. The cottage is super clean and the layout worked great for us. Kitchen is stocked with everything. The owner met us their and showed us the property which was great. Free boat launch very close if you bring your own boat. Great wifi and beautiful views. Fire pit was awesome and they supply all the wood. They even had a fresh bouquet of flowers that were beautiful and lasted the whole week. Don’t think twice about booking this place.

The title describes my stay!!! Needed to get away from the stressful world and this cottage, Earl & Linda, the lake, everything, was a perfect match!
