"Hotel was great. Rooms are just about the right size. Very organized small space to not feel cramped. Great amenities. Buffet is excellent and varied for breakfast or dinner. Free movies on a big tv. Onsen mens or ladies only spas is fantastic. Clean facility and hot tubs or pools of varying temperatures. We will visit again. Great location above central metro station to easily get around and only 5 stops from Shinkansen train station. "

It was further from all the places we want to explore in Kyoto but it was conveniently located next to Kyoto station so it was still a great location to be able to catch a train around the city to explore. Would definitely recommend and stay here again the next time we are in Kyoto. "

"We had a fabulous stay at the hotel. The room is spacious and also had a sliding door separating the beds from the sink and bathroom and shower. The hotel provided pajamas, slippers and robes as well as complementary mineral water. Check-in was super easy. The front desk staff was very helpful, they spoke excellent English and helped us to schedule a cab to pick us up at 3:30 in the morning to head to the fish auction at the central market. The location was great and it was very easy to get to Osaka station to catch the train back to Tokyo. "
