Let me preface by saying that the staff that I dealt with during my actual weekend stay were wonderful. However, today I noticed a double charge on my bank account. I called my bank who told to contact the hotel directly. This was the most aggressive and nasty customer service I’ve ever encountered from any one at any level from any business!! A man who CSA is his Michael, referred to himself as a manager spoke to me in the rudest manner and proceeded to tell me that no one else can assist me but him and that he’s not giving me his last name. That I will just need to wait and deal with this with my bank. He told me that it’s not his problem or issue. After pushing and ask to speak with a decent human being, he gave me the full name of a manager who was due in the next shift. Meanwhile he was still Michael with no last name.
I intend to personally name Michael in every review, whic by the way I never take the time to complete. I intend to warn everyone I know who frequent Newport,RI to never stay at the Newport Harbor Hotel!!! I intend to reach the helm of this establishment in effort to let them know they need to either replace Michael or keep in a back closet. During all his rudeness he told me that he didn’t have time to deal with me because he had customers in front of him!!! Lucky them!
