“Spent two nights as a couple with a small dog. Totally relaxing break on the banks of the River Trent. Stayed in one of the adjacent cottages (no 14). Excellent. Only niggles were that although the bathroom had been recently refurbished, the extractor fan was not working and there was nowhere to hang a towel. Bathroom had the best shower I have ever used. Talk about a whoosh!
We ate both nights in the restaurant. It had a limited menu, but the food was good. Food and drinks reasonably priced....
“I booked two triple rooms for my family and I. Check in was easy and check staff friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean, quiet. They had enough pillows and towels. The soap and shampoo dispensers were fully stocked. The power shower was great and easy to use. There was hair dryer, ironing board and iron in the room and tea and coffee properly stocked. The lighting in the bathroom and room was nice and bright. I was really impressed by the high standards at the hotel and rooms prices. Excellent...
“We choose The Boot Inn to stay overnight as we were meeting family for dinner in nearby Mercia Marina, we were warmly greeted and shown to our room which was as described on website, very comfortable and stylishly designed, breakfast was very much to our liking and the options were plentiful should you need. ”

Breakfast in the restaurant was really nice and they offered a complementary drink.
They also refunded the money we paid for parking in their car park. We didn’t know how this worked beforehand.”

"El hotel bien, limpio y cómodo, pero llevábamos 15 minutos en la habitación y le dieron la misma llave de nuestra habitación a otro pareja, que obviamente entraron en nuestra habitación, menos mal que estábamos allí, si no quizás hubiéramos tenido un problema porque teníamos nuestro equipaje y alguien nos dio la llave de nuestra habitación a otra persona. Bajamos a quedarnos, recibimos sólo un "lo siento". "
