The hotel was very clean, well maintained and the staff were perfect. However, the beds were too small (a double bed is a cot size per adult!!) and parking was extra - just add that in to the cost of the room.
Faded grandeur, very comfortable beds, lovely gardens, and friendly and helpful staff!
At first glance was grubby, however once in our room, very airy an spacious, spotless bed linnen and bath room, had everything we needed, and nothing was to much trouble for staff on reception 😀
Pleasant surroundings, nice view of river Trent. Food good at a reasonable price.
