We expected quite simple / basic accommodation and were pleased to find it as anticipated - a small cabin like bedroom simply fitted out but completely adequate and spotlessly clean. We didn't arrive until just after 8pm but were cheerfully greeted by a very helpful Chris (despite him being towards the end of a busy day for him - when we arrived he was part of a small team clearing up after a wedding or birthday celebration of some size). He directed us towards a nearby place……

“Check in was no frills. We arrived half an hour before check in and was offered a room but for an extra fee. I accidentally booked the room for one person so had to pay an extra £12 for breakfast which was fair enough but on check out an additional £10 for the extra person which I thought was unfair.”

“Hotel is a little dated but room and bathroom were very clean. Fan was provided so temperature was comfortable. Room spacious and will be great if you have dogs. Bed relatively comfortable. Minor gripe is that the shower gel was very watered down so no use really. Other than that it’s a good budget option for this location and I would definitely stay there again.”
