There were three main issues with the Kurrajong Hotel.
Firstly, the bed was very hard and there was an obvious dip in the mattress. During the night, I heard the springs ping in the mattress and if you slept too close to the edge, the mattress collapsed. I had a very poor sleep. I approached the front desk, I was told there was nothing that could be done as housekeeping went home. During checkout this morning, the assistant manager said we could have been moved to a different room.
The gutters on the roofs have rusted through. This meant that when it rained overnight, dripping was heard and woke us up.
Finally, while I understand that the resturant was closed yesterday, I still can't understand why bar food couldn't be ordered and secondly, why there was no table service for breakfast this morning.
