“a very good value for money option for those wanting to stay near glasgow. Reasonable commute by car to the city (1/2 hour or so) - suggest you go the more Country route. Local area isn’t significant, so suggest you eat in the city. Our large room got a lovely sunset, whilst sitting on a large raised couch. Quiet. (though the birds can get noisy for a bit - nothing the property can do about that though). Sheep in the garden ! Recommended.”

“It was an amazing find, travelling South on a long journey from Stornoway to Keswick. I began to feel tired in the afternoon, so I stopped the car went onto Expedia and found this place. The price was very reasonable for August, and the hotel was lovely, a little off the beaten track, but there was a local shop 2 mins away. Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I’m going to bookmark this one.”

“The gal at the front desk was amazing, I’d only had three hours of sleep because I went to the Prodigy gig the night before and then I decided this was a decent place to crash for the night. I got in early and while I was willing to sleep in my car until time to check in, she went above and beyond to get me sorted. There was also a really lovely lady who was working on my floor doing housekeeping who I chatted with briefly. She told me to go in and get my head down, and was just so friendly....

“Estuvimos 2 noches, y nuestra sorpresa fue al llegar tarde al motel (la recepción del alojamiento ya había cerrado), comprobamos que la habitación estaba desecha, las camas no las habían hecho, sin papel higiénico y las papeleras llenas, no habían limpiado. Al estar cerrada la recepción no pudimos comentar a nadie el estado de nuestra habitación. No recomiendo nada este alojamiento. ”

“Me encantó esta propiedad! Me quede 2 noches, no consecutivas. La primer habitacion espectacular, la 2da el colchon ya podria ser cambiado .. pero el resto excelente. Seria una opcion que repetiria, muy buen precio con desayuno incluido, y el personal ha sido maravilloso!! Si vuelvo a visitar escocia, volveria a este hotel !”
