When I arrived the person at the front desk questioned me about the credit card I used because it was plastic and not metal like his . I didn’t appreciate it but I let it slide. The breakfast provided was bare minimum imo at least have some eggs . The treadmill and elliptical machine were non existent. Front desk staff could’ve been friendlier and make eye contact when speaking to you Especially the night person . Housekeeping staff seemed friendly. I’d likely look for a different hotel to stay in the same area .

The stay was good. But, it was only one night. If I were to want to stay a week. I would think twice about it. The even staff, basically locked himself in the office. Didn’t allow us to come in for check in. Made us use a little window for transaction. Like if he was scared of contact with customers. Your establishment is in a nice area. I’ve been living in Waterbury, CT since 1994. I know all the bad areas to avoid. That location is not a bad area. So, I really wasn’t happy of the introduction and not making the customer feel welcomed. So, because of that. I really wasn’t happy.

This is a family business with friendly staff. It’s a great, clean place to stay if you’re on the road or have biz in Waterbury. No frills, but excellent beds and showers and the weird joy of a cook-your-own waffle station at breakfast.

The room was excellent and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The reason I gave it 3 stars was that they allow 18 wheelers to park in their lot overnight. One truck kept turning their engine on every hour for 15 minutes each time. It vibrated the entire building.
