This is a pretty nice place in a nice quiet neighborhood. The lobby offers easy access for your luggage and the elevators are only steps away. The elevators are slow, clunky and noisy but that is not a big deal. The room was quite spacious with a work space area but I wished it had a larger fridge instead of the little one that was there. A person like me, coming from a different travel location with things that need to be refrigerated, may run into a problem. There wasn't much of a view (LIRR?...

The room was very clean and comfortable. We've stayed at Wyndam properties before and the beds are very comfortable. Bob at the front desk was the best! We arrived early and had a room ready for us. He was very pleasant to speak with and very accommodating. We had free coffee in the lobby each morning and were very happy with our stay. If you're in town for a Merchant Marine Academy function, I recommend this hotel.

Rooms and public spaces are very clean. The staff was accommodating. And the breakfast at Blue Ember was yummy. If I travel to this area in the future we will stay again.

Got a free upgrade to a suite... was a lovely room with a very comfortable bed! Plenty of dining options within walking distance. Quiet hotel, great experience with the shuttle drivers to and from the airport. Will definitely stay here again when we have flights from Laguardia!

Room was clean. Lobby was clean. The room was very simple but had everything I needed. I only used it for sleeping. The area outside was dirty, but I felt mostly safe walking it. It was easy walking distance to Subway train to Manhattan.

I normally stay at 4 star hotels so I didn't expect the accommodations to be so nice. My traveling companion and I were very pleasantly surprised, however my relatives who live in the Long Island/Queens area already knew about this little gem and had already suggested it first. The lodge was immaculate, my room was very clean and well decorated.(I prefer floors vs carpeting). Room amenities included coffee/tea/sweetener, coffee pot, fresh linens (towels, soaps) daily. The Renaissance is a fabulous hotel to stay in. It is clean, convenient, and the staff is professional and helpful. The dining room has excellent food and service. I loved staying here and would stay again!

very disappointed with front desk, i booked the room with harbor view ( that what i paid ) & the front lady gave me parking lot view. because i checked in late & tired so I don't want to argue with her but as a front desk she suppose to give the exactly what the client pay & i believe theirs already explanation in her computer without client have to ask the room type.

A secret GEM found in college point!! The front desk team was amazing, (Mr. Saed) was so accommodating so kind so professional, as well as the entire front desk surpassed my expectations And I would suggest staying here to anyone I know this would and is going to be my first choice to stay when having to come to the area hands-down!! Thank you Ly Hotel!!
