Definitely way better than a 6 rating!

Not sure how this received such a low rating previously. I found that it was really good - the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The food was amazing and incredible value for money - the only issue I had was that I couldn't get the Velux blinds to stay closed, but I think that was more down to operator error! Definitely a place I wouldn't hesitate in stopping at again

The staff were all welcoming and service was excellent. The room was small but surprisingly quiet for a public house. My only significant criticism about the room was that it was cold in the evening and overnight – I had to use the duvets from both single beds. Guests are warned not to change the thermostat on the underfloor heating.
