I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels, several times in Country Inn. This was by far my worst experience in one. This was an emotional and overwhelming trip, we had a lot going on so didn’t really think about moving hotels. Stayed there two nights, our room had a terrible musty smell and it felt damp. It was so bad we went to the Walmart and bought wipes and Lysol. The carpet was disgusting and felt like it had been outdoors and gotten rained on and dried over and over. I didn’t complain or try to move rooms, looking back now I should have. Due to the nature of our travel I just wasn’t in the right headspace to deal with it. Maybe it was isolated incident, but from my experience would not recommend.

The location was great however our room did not look like what was shown on Expedia. It’s an old hotel and needs a major update. The comforter's were all torn and had holes in it. The other was a bit stained I did call front desk and they did bring newer ones.

Ive bever been to a better smelling hotel in my life. Staff was friendly and professional. Room was perfect size for my husband and myself. Our room faced a wooded area with a pond, it was pieceful. The only issue was the curtains. There wasnt a way to close out the light and one rod was almost broken. That being said, id stay here again. It was a great experience
