The staff was very friendly and provided great service. Highly recommended. Room was clean and properly maintained. Needs more cabinets. hallways need updating, new rugs and stairway. no elevators are an issue.

expedia misrepresented this property with misleading photos and description. The place reeked of smoke in non smoking rooms. my kids are allergic and we left immediately after entering the rooms. the sheets were stained, floors filthy and the bathtubs were cracked and broken. i have pictures. this place would be condemned if an inspector visited. i want a refund

This motel is in a good area, right by Walmart and shopping plaza. Could be a little better maintained.

Smelled awful, dirty in hallways and area immediately outside. Bugs in room and trash in hallway. The ceiling in the bathroom was severely water stained and you could tell the door to our room had been pried open. Was in town for work, just looking for a place to rest at night; I slept with the light on. I have stayed at Motel 6 before and never experienced anything like this.

The best thing I can write about this hotel is I only had to endure there for one night. A book could be written on how many things are horrible about this motel. The corporate company really needs to visit this property.

The TV remote didn’t work even after changing the batteries. The towel rack was broken. The bedroom felt unclean. No elevator so had to drag my suitcase to second floor. Generally awful.

I have complained and nothing came of it. Expedia said I would be credited and that didn’t happen. I have been trying to change the rest of my trip because I got so sick in Newport due to mold (I’m very allergic). This was awful and I’m still sick from the mold. I was treated rude by the staff and nobody cared that the floor was slimy. Would be nice if anyone ever tried to help, but I’ll be disputing it with my credit card company since Expedia has not responded in days.

Everything at this site is broke Telephone fire alarm curtains TV Door & customer no service personnel. Handicapped have no way to get in after hours. No visible bill at the desk Godawful experience Good news. Personnel were great at apilogies

Halls stink like cigarettes and pot. Rooms smelled fine (got non-smoking). Had to go to front desk for a tv remote. Area not best for kids. Adult store and Walmart right nearby. Area felt a bit out of place for Newport.
