Off to the Eifel National Park. Nice tours over the "rock tour" along the beautiful colored sandstone rocks to the castle Nideggen. Guided ranger tours, canoeing on the Rur, the Tour de Rur by bike around the Rursee and excursions with the Rurseeschifffahrt on the Obersee and Untersee. You can experience all of this in the Rureifel.
Picturesque towns, medieval castles testify to an eventful history.
Thanks to our central location, you can be in Aachen within 60 minutes by car; Düren, Cologne or Bonn.
Other interesting excursion destinations are the Phantasialand Brühl, the Bubenheimer Spiele Land, Satzfey Castle, the Kommern open-air museum, Monschau with its castle and the historic mustard mill, the Roman bath in Zülpich and the Art Nouveau hydropower plant Heimbach.
Not to forget, there is a delicious pea soup and a homemade Trappist liqueur in the Abbey of Maria Wald.
For hobby astronomers, the Eifel with its star park offers the best observation opportunities.
