The property appears to be undergoing some much needed renovations in every area. Check in with the young lady who helped me was fine, very friendly and helpful. After visiting the fitness room I had to return to the check in desk because I had an issue with the connection to the wi-fi for the Peloton bike in there. I will say that I chose this property specifically because they have the Peloton bike. The young lady referred my question to the older (white hair lady at the desk) & sorry I don’t know names (no name tags). This older lady didn’t have the answer & much to her annoyance (which she made very apparent) basically marches down to the fitness center to see what she could do & basically said there was nothing she could do & walked off. It wasn’t a mechanical bike issue at all but the wi-fi service connection to the bike. I explained that I’ve had this issue at other hotels with the peloton connecting to wi-fi and if they call their internet provider & it was a very simple issue to resolve to get the bike connected. She told me “well that’s a Time Warner issue” and walked off. I apologized that I had to make her walk down the hall to the fitness center! Why by the way has great equipment but not clean at all, no water cooler, waste basket or equipment sanitizer. Breakfast was excellent though as well as the the s up per nice lady who was apparently in charge of that.

After reading all the bad reviews, I saw a few good ones and decided to take the chance. Photos on Expedia and on the website look absolutely nothing like what I booked. I was told that Expedia doesn’t update their photos, which is confusing because it seems like they did update the photos to what the more renovated rooms look like, yet gave us a dated, old, worn out room. I chose the 2 queen bed (larger) room and we got a basic 2 queen room, all of the furniture was very old and chipped / stained. Carped was stained and everything was dusty. Our balcony screen door was detached and on the floor of the deck. There was no extra toilet paper. Beds were decently comfy. When we first arrived I was very annoyed that this happened to us so I went and told the man at the front desk, he apologized said that Expedia doesn’t update the photos which isn’t true, they just catfish you. And that they were fully booked and there was nothing we could do… the place did not seem sold out it was very quiet, barely anyone at the pool every time we went, not many cars. On the plus side, the pools and outdoor amenities were great, loved both pools. Thankfully we were very busy doing other activities so we were mostly just in the room to sleep but with 2 small children if I had the option to change rooms or get refunded I would have but that didn’t seem to be an option. Please update your photos to what they really look like so when booking people know what they are getting.

No functional phone or refrigerator.Was given a refrigerator next day which did not cool .It appears I was given a room which was getting renovated.Expedia sold a room which was filthy ,bad carpets .Terrible experience

A little disappointed but okay for a quick last minute overnight stay. Room was dark. Bulb out in big lamp, only one worked. Random lightswitch near door that didnt turn anything on. Breakfast was fine for what was expected. Staff could stand to have name tags or a uniform shirt. Heard other rooms were nicer etc. Will try 1 more time before our yearly ski trip

There was no AC in the dining room area/hallways are you smell? Is cigarette smell coming from the carpets especially as soon as you open your room door… Our toiletries was not accommodating for people when we had a reservation for four people. We only had one roll of toilet paper towels.. And our room was right by a hallway door that leads to outside, and that door would constantly slam open and shot open and shut.. We spent about $400 for two nights and we will never go there again.. You would even hear other people in the cafeteria during breakfast hours complaining about how stinky the place was.. We went to the pool at end of day around sunset and the pool was never skimmed. There were so many Japanese beetles and dead bugs floating on the surface.. Overall, the hotel was not clean whatsoever. You never saw any staff except for front desk and the maintenance guy who was trying to fix the ice machine because that was broken… The reason why we picked that hotel was because the images were very pretty on Expedia so that was very deceiving and also we wanted to try a different hotel.. We won’t be doing that again.

First the positives - beautiful outdoor pool, playground, indoor pool and hot tub, free Starbucks coffee 24 hours in lobby, free breakfast each morning, ice cold ac, cable TV, very comfortable bed. The hotel is walking distance to shopping, restaurants and ice cream so there is plenty to do without having to drive. Now the not-so-positives - parts of the hotel are run down. We stayed in the Attitash section on the second floor. There was trash and broken down building equipment in the stairwell. The room was outdated and in need of a good deep cleaning, especially the rug and bathroom. I cleaned the bathroom myself. No housekeeping service was available during our stay so we ran out of toilet paper and towels. Our curtains were broken so I had to continue to try to piece the top back together for room darkening. The windows were filthy. The railings on the upstairs porch were broken and falling in. To end on a positive, we enjoyed the pools, the breakfast and coffee, the ability to walk to many stores and local businesses, and the amazing view of the White Mountains.

We were moved from our first room due to a filthy shower/tub and paint chipping above the bed. The second room was much better, however, the shower curtain liner was missing and the water soaked the bathroom floor- we had yo use our bath towels to dry it so no one would slip. Unfortunately, the hotel had ZERO towels left on the property. The front desk agent offered a hand towel. A gentleman who appeared to be a manager, seemed very disgruntled by our request for more towels and never mentioned they were completely out and we should not expect fresh ones upon our return to the room. He just wrote the toom number down and said nothing else. The young lady who checked us in and accommodated the room move the first night, was very pleasant and professional. She was doing the best she could with the resources she had- not many!!! I found my way to the pool area and got a couple of pool towels, despite no staff offering them as an alternative. This place could be beautiful and enjoyable with some attention and updates. No towels on a holiday weekend is poor planning by management and toom inspections would serve them well!

I would not recommend staying at this hotel. We made a trip up to North Conway with our 6 year old to go to storyland, and chose this hotel for its indoor/outdoor pool, playground, and the room type (queen bed with separate alcove for bunk beds). The pictures online looked fine, the room certainly looked like the decor was dated, but hey for $190 a night it seemed like a good deal given the other amenities on the property. When we checked in our first red flag was walking up the stairwell to our room, it was carpeted stairs and it had clearly not been vacuumed in a very long time, trash everywhere, and a random TV just sitting there. Then we entered our room to find the carpet hadn’t been vacuumed here either. Turns out, someone probably hasn’t stayed in this room for quite some time because there was a layer of dirt/dust and dead bugs all over the surfaces in the room, visible dirt on the floor, and no TV when clearly there should have been one since there were cords and a channel guide (maybe that random TV was supposed to be ours?). The bathroom was gross, again a layer of dirt on the sink, toilet and in the tub. Luckily I travel with bleach wipes, I wiped down the bathroom and the toilet was so disgusting under the lid. We got in fairly late since it was a bit of a drive, so we decided to not go barefoot on the floor, just go to bed and get the heck out early in the morning. Thank goodness the sheets were clean and we checked for bed bugs and didn’t find any. Never again!

Access door to rooms did not shut. Huge gap at top our room door. Toilet wouldn't flush, husband had to fix multiple times. Safe didn't work. Floors were filthy. Light didn't work. Coffee machine didn't work. Outdoor pool was not open and we weren't told before arrival. Front desk customer service lacked. Never saw cleaning staff. Towels were outside of rooms on ground. Trash everywhere. Very rundown property. Pictures on website are not accurate.

dirty sheets, water flood, wanted to change the room and told us the were no more avaible, came back with again other dirty sheets and now they found an other rood. gave us the card to unlock the room and did not work. got back at the desk and gave us an other set, did not work either... we were not able to flush the toilet, i had to remove the cover and flush it manually, asked many times fo have someone to fix it and took forever.

Didn’t care for the noisy air conditioner, but a lot of places are the same especially older ones. Loved the fact that breakfast was included, big bonus and also they had free coffee near the front desk., for me and my wife those were two big plus’s
