Northern Interior California Vacations from $168

This is a small, boutique hotel with the essential amenities. I like that the room was modern and recently updated. The lobby area is nicely decorated with complementary coffee and tea any time of day. The area is busy and central, and if you know San Francisco, can feel a bit unsafe at times, but the hotel had keyed entry and was tucked away which made me feel safer. Uber does not stop in front, so you have to walk to the corner, which was not too far. One issue I had is the shower was leaking, lots of water would escape from under the door, and I had to use lots of towels to protect the wood floor. I mentioned this during my first day there, and they took note of it, but nothing was done but bring me additional towels.

Great property. I would stay here again when I come back to L.A. Good location, lots of stuff is walkable but also easy to get to lots of good attractions. The unit itself is quiet, the windows keep out the noise of the street. Large unit, very comfortable.

Thankfully, the bedsheets were clean except for the stray hair. The motel is occupied by permanent residence who are coming and going at all hours with sketchy looking people loitering about. Walls are paper sin and you can hear conversations from every direction. The towels were dirty. Being the cheapest option around you certainly get what you pay for but honestly anything more than $50 is too much for this motel. For a few dollars more I’m sure you’re overnight experience will be a lot better at Motel 6 and I recommend doing so. Not a place to bring your family.
