“I really enjoyed my stay. The room was comfortable, clean and kept. I had a great view of Lake Bemidji but unfortunately it rained most of the time I was there but the view was amazing when the rain cleared. People were very friendly and bars turned out to be a local hangout for people in the area which added a homey feel. I don’t frequent bars but theirs were welcoming. Everyone was very friendly. “It was a one night stopover. Dated rooms. Air conditioner loud and blew directly on the bed. No towel racks and No Hair Dryer. Five stars to the VFW, only restaurant in town, people very friendly and food was good.”

“I didn’t like that there was not an automatic entrance door. I need to be able to book online a room on the ground level. I use a wheelchair and when I checked in the designated room was on the second level with no elevator in the building.”
