"Wonderful Syracuse stay We had a wonderful stay in Rua 39 centrally located, clean and tastefully decorated Superior Apartment with private balcony. We appreciated the detailed instructions and effective support during our self check in and check out along with parking recommendation (Thank you Naomi!). Overall, a great experience throughout! We hope to be back there again. "

"Very convenient in the centre for sightseeing and restaurants, management organized our free parking with the police. Very nice to be able to do laundry in the apartment and continue the trip with fresh clothes."

"The photos look impressive but bathroom needed renovation 30 years ago. Shower cubicle disgusting with cracks everywhere full of mould and tiles had been painted dark blue to try to cover it. Worst bathroom with no comparison. No basics such as salt and pepper, no vinegar, no oil, no paper towels and not even a dishclothe! Mobile phone was left in apartment and was stolen."

"My husband and I stayed at this beautiful property for over a week, and it was a great experience. This apartment is very comfortable, filled with light and good energy. The main living area is spacious, and comfortable to relax in. The walls are covered with the artwork of local artists. The bedroom is peaceful and quiet. The a/c in the bedroom and living area works really well, and the internet is strong. We appreciated that there was a small balcony where we could sit and drink wine, and also...

"Appartamento nel cuore di Ortigia, su una piazzetta deliziosa. Due ambienti ampi e luminosi dove si respira pienamente la Sicilia. Pieno di ristorantini nei dintorni (tra cui quello in piazzetta). I ragazzi dell’agenzia sono stati gentilissimi e disponibili. "

"The property could do with an upgrade on the kitchen section - only a two section hotplate, basic kettle and general kitchen implements; no oven - all a bit surprising really for a 'Luxury Apartment'. Bathroom, Lounge and Bedroom were fine and more luxurious. Excelent location for a short walk to attractions and excellent aircon which was a must."

"The beach was nice. It was difficult to get to. You had to walk a distance on a very busy street with no sidewalks. Nothing was in walking distance ie. Grocery stores, restaurants. Definitely need a vehicle to get around. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. I do have a major issue that has not been resolved. That has left a very bad impression of the host/owner."

"We came as a group of friends for the Greek Theatre festival which was twenty minutes walk from the apartment. The flat was just as described- spacious and comfortable with a lovely balcony with a sea view. Good local shop and a half hour walk to Ortigia Recommend the fish restaurant down at the port- we went twice for the Misti fritto, the squid ink pasta and the fresh sea bass"

"This beautiful little place, perfect for a couple, is located in a quiet street in the Siracusian centre on Isola d’Ortigia. All the sights are at walking distance. The Ortigia Holiday staff provides great service and have good English language skills."

"We loved our stay in Ortigia. The apartment was clean and well appointed. The kitchen was well supplied. Cooking was easy. The bedroom was in the back of the apartment so it was quiet and the bed was comfortable. The location was perfect, with a view out onto the piazza. We would definitely stay here again."

"Felt very safe as 2 single women. Location was perfect. Kitchen was sufficiently stocked with plates (some chipped) and pots & pans. The unit needed a good deep cleaning. Dust bunnies and stains on curtains, walls and couch need to be addressed. Lack of aceess to plastic bags for garbage was a down side. We stayed for 28 days with 1 garbage bag and one set of towels each. There was a broom, broken dust pan and no mop.We were however very grateful to only have to wait for 30 minutes when we...
