My wife and I stayed at this hotel for four days and three nights while visiting Chicago. During our entire stay, our room was never cleaned—not even once. Eventually, my wife had to clean the sink and the toilet herself because no housekeeping service was provided.
We only received fresh towels after specifically requesting them. Breakfast was not provided. Instead, the hotel offered only bananas, tasteless apples, and old, stale coffee. Sometimes there were not even any bananas left, so unless you arrived early in the morning, there was nothing available to eat.
In addition, the front desk employee could have been much friendlier. A smile and a welcoming attitude would have made a big difference in the overall guest experience.
Overall, this was a very disappointing stay and far below the level of service we expected from a hotel.
