This guest house is located in a fabulous spot. Close to downtown and the harbor. Room was gorgeous and had a nice view. The common kitchen and sitting area has beautiful big windows that allows for a nice tranquil place to sit and reflect on the days events. Parking, if you have a car, is easy and plentiful. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to spend time in Oban.
Lovely decor and clean room except for the glass shades on the bedside lamps which were covered in a thick layer of dust. Nice lounge space and shared fridge available. Ample parking and still within walking distance of town
Exceptionally tasteful and well maintained comfortable quiet property in Oban within walking distance of the center of town, ferries and train station. A great jumping off point to the Hebrides and the Highlands, even without a car. Comfortable upscale decor and impeccably clean accommodation. Well set up for self catering guests who during our stay were very considerate of others.
Great place to stay with excellent facilities and a great view over the harbour. Both Dalrigh House and Oban were a great base allowing us to explore the islands.
Dalrigh house was a decent stop in Oban. The small self contained room was all I needed and was clean and functional as a single traveller. All self-service but that all worked ok. Excellent parking and location. Good value. And a Sea View!

Disliked: Staff & service
Location was reasonable and check in instructions good. Room was smaller than I expected and bed uncomfortable.
Will email communication with House, email likely a bot as never addressed our requests by email for new towels and toilet rolls. Very disappointed to NO RESPONSE. Ended up taking Toilet Roll for other public toilet at the facility.
Excellent!all areas very clean!easy checking in/out with code!still under construction down below kitchen etc?but beautiful views when all finished!highly recommend
Very nicely decorated, clean, comfortable, great location- up the hill from the town center. There’s a common refrigerator and sink area which was great but no dishes or cutlery-that would be a nice addition, as would a coffee maker of some sort. There is also not a sitting area outside which would be nice as there is a space for it. Staff was largely unavailable-typically a day or two to respond so you must be self sufficient and not rely on them for immediate needs. Would stay here again.
Stayed in a single room, had everything I needed. Self check in was easy due to good communication from property.
The WiFi went off on my first evening but I messaged the property and they had an engineer out the following day and was sorted by the time I got back.
The only complaint I have is the radiator in the room did not work and after being out in the cold rain all day was not ideal.
It was just a very nice place. Remodeled beautifully inside with wonderful views of the water. It’s a short walk to town or you can drive in and park easily. The common room was nice, too.
This was a beautiful property, located in the heart of Oban. Walkable to downtown and the waterfront. The owner or property manager was very friendly and helpful and welcoming. The room was lovely and clean. Highly recommend!
The room was better than we expected for the price. Very comfortable bed, nice bathroom and shower and amazing view from the window. The only slight negatives were that the room wasn't as warm as we would have liked (the radiator didn't get very hot and the heat wasn't uniform across the radiator so possibly needing bled?) and the carpet could have been vacuumed more thoroughly. But we had a great, though short, stay and would definitely recommend Dalrigh House to others.
Great spot to stay in Oban. Rooms were clean and felt modern. For the price it was definitely worth it. Easy check in process and very close to everything you needed downtown. Would definitely recommend.
My only complaint is they use a lot of those scent diffusers around the property which always give me a headache so if you are someone who is sensitive to that might be worth looking elsewhere.
We stayed in Oban for two nights and we had such a wonderful time staying at the Dalrigh House. It is located about a 10-minute walk up from the main Oban downtown area. The check in process was all automated and easy which was nice after a long drive. Our window looked out on the town and the room was very comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend staying at the Dalrigh if you have a chance to do so.
