“Really nice location, had a larger than expected room which was a result. Chose hotel based on reviews about views and being on the 3rd floor was impressive. Spent each evening out on the balcony enjoying the view. The hotel is i think mainly used by walkers/hikers, the surrounding area has many paths. Not far from the main street with its shop and a couple of bars/restaurants but the walk back up the hill will be a bit of a mission. We used the car. There is parking along the side of the……

“Parking was a bit difficult. Had to park across the street in an underground and pay €14 per night. The breakfast was remarkable and the best we have ever had in any hotel traveling. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They didn't seem to know how to find an ATM. Suggest that information be available to travelers who need to exchange currency.”

“Hausach is the perfect place to stay in the Black Forest and this is the perfect hotel in all respects. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable, the breakfast has a good choice and the evening meals of big portions and excellent value. We will certainly be back. It's a short walk to the station where you can use the free public transport within the region.”
