The rooms were clean but definitely need an update however overall the stay was good. All the staff from front desk, bell hops, concierge, workers at the restaurants and stores on site were all very helpful and kind. The setup is like condos/timeshares with kitchenettes for the bigger rooms. Every room does have a microwave so that was really helpful, makes it great for families. Multiple pools so never crowded and they were kept clean. Free shuttle to Universal which is helpful but the property isn’t far from it and the Uber was only $23. We took the shuttle in the morning and then uber to go back to the resort. Resort also had a waterpark which is additional cost if your stay doesn’t include it however it’s discounted if you download the Westgate app and become a member, it was around $12/person. The waterpark was great. Food was surprisingly good. Wave pool could be bigger since it was definitely the main attraction. It had a couple other water rides and a water playground for smaller kids and the lazy river was long and nice, had some water splash surprises which made it fun. It wasn’t too crowded either so that’s a plus. It’s also next to the lake which was a nice view. Got a cabana, def worth it if you’re gonna be there all day and compared to bigger water parks the price was cheap, even cheaper if you’re a big group to split it. You also get $50 off if you’re staying at the resort, I would recommend for families or big groups.
