When we opened the sofa bed, we found crumpled, used sheets left behind from previous guests. There was also trash and other items underneath and inside the bed. The sofa had what appeared to be red stains, possibly from wine or another liquid.
Both nightstands in the bedroom were sticky from spilled liquids. After wiping them down, the towels came away with black grime and dust, giving the impression that those surfaces had not been thoroughly cleaned in quite some time.
The room itself was relatively quiet from outside traffic and pedestrians, but we frequently heard odd noises that sounded like metal objects dropping or bouncing on the floor throughout our stay.
We stayed for three nights and really wanted to enjoy the property because of its excellent location, with easy access to markets, restaurants, and the main streets. Unfortunately, based on the cleanliness issues, we would not choose to stay here again.
On a positive note, we did enjoy both the coffee shop and the restaurant.
