"Not easy to find on arrival, but near the beach, the sea and the aquarium. Walking distance to restaurants. The hosts were welcoming and gave us pointers for places to visit during our one-week stay. The beach itself is well-protected from the winds and beaches in Eastern Crete are also recommended on windy days. Our favorite restaurant was Ambrosia."

"The property was well equiped, spacious and just right. Lovely views. The pool was well maintained and big enough. It is deeper than many, but ideal for adults. A short walk, uphill unfortunately, but downhill after the night out, to the village. With 2 excellent restaurants. A small shop, a bakery and very friendly people. We were sad to leave. "Stelios and Maria were very welcoming and always available if we needed anything. The accommodation offered us everything we needed and was well located for trips to the beach, Heraklion and the airport. Some good recommendations from Stelios so try those out. We had welcome gifts when we arrived and Stelios’ parents next door also kindly dropped in some fruit. Enjoy the sounds of the countryside and the cicadas and make the booking. You won’t be disappointed."

"Loved Villa Eva. So close to the ocean. Beautiful sunrises; walk to sites, restaurants and shops. Well appointed two bedroom apartment. The welcome raki regular and honey infused a wonderful touch. "We stayed in Stelio’s villa in Stalida from 19-29/8. The Villa was well equipped and comfortable with a superb outside area where we spent a lot of time relaxing and socialising. "It was incredible villas, the view and the villas was awesome! If you are planing to do the laundry, it was not working while we were there so maybe ask before. It also smells cigarette on the first floor but the rest of the area was perfect. The host and manager were very helpful. The cook and the assistant were very nice and the food was amazing! I would go back anytime :)"

"Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay at this property. The villa exceeded our expectations with lovely appointments, views and an attentive owner/manager who is on site. The village is lovely, with friendly people at every turn and wonderful food in both restaurants that we tried. Close to the beach, but with a pool and ocean views that make you want to just stay right there. We'd definitely recommend and come again."

"We have just enjoyed 2 weeks at the lovely villa Stella hosted by the very helpful and friendly Alexandros. Immaculately clean and with the basic supplies, coffee, tea, bread, home grown grapes, bread and salad ready and waiting for us on arrival. We were even treated to a bottle of the owners own grown olive oil. Simply couldn’t ask for more. The road to the house is very steep so a good car is essential. Would definitely recommend. "

Often difficult to get spots at the pool as well. We almost decided to go next door to the Nana Princess instead. Food was pretty good.
