Wander through this open public area and see its fountain, several covered shelters, large green trees and nice vegetation. Enjoy lunch on its picnic tables and let the children frolic on the playground located behind the steam engine. Jeffords Park also features a stage for public performances, a parking lot and tennis courts. Come here for the Georgia Peanut Festival in October to enjoy a parade, beauty pageant and unusual peanut treats.
