Clean room and staff was always helpful

This is a beautiful hotel. Clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfy and the AC and ceiling fan kept the room cool on a hot weekend. We could see the river out of our first floor window. So pretty! We ate dinner at the restaurant on the property and I wasn’t impressed. I would stay again.

we had a reservation at La Quinta in columbus georgia on july 16 to july 20 we were assigned room number 118 and immediatiately explained to the staff that there was a mold & mildew smell in the room friday morning they promised to move us and we had to remain in the room for (2) nights with mold and mildew we want a refund..

When we arrived late afternoon there was a note attached to the front door directing us to our room and that they were busy with another client, but did supply a number to call. Our room door was wide open with the keys laying on a table. We did try to call to ask about the wifi and breakfast. We received a text, 3 hours later, with the wifi info and that we were not getting breakfast or coffee as it was not included. I understand about breakfast, but no coffee? There was no TV's anywhere and I do not remember seeing that on the site, but I may have overlooked. The house itself was nice, historical, but we were not overwhelmed by it, nor the lack of attention to customers by the owners. Very overpriced for what you get.
