"Lovely house with great wraparound porch and gorgeous plants & trees. The lilacs, which I love, were blooming which was absolutely delightful - so aromatic and beautiful!
The bed was very comfy and the view of the town and water was joyful. There's a lovely art gallery, used bookstore, and plenty of dining options nearby.
A very sweet couple manages the inn and they're excellent cooks - Captain Sawyer's breakfast was beyond delicious - one day it was just me and they served huevos rancheros and posette - incredible! ...The kitchen is down the hall from the rooms so if you wish there are opportunities for social time.
The only thing that I'd recommend as a future update - as with many stately old New England homes, the bathroom could use a refresh - including some new caulking."
"The inn is conveniently located near restaurants and shops. There is a restaurant on the property as well serving seafood meals and pub food. The only thing we didn’t realize is we had to park across the street down a small incline. We parked there after unloading the car but when we went to park there a 2nd time someone asked us to move. Overall, the inn is clean, quiet and fairly priced for its location. "

The staff is always very friendly, accommodating, helpful in many ways. The location is superb, set within a minute or two walk from the center of Boothbay Harbor. Mid-Town Motel has become a cherished place for visitors who have been returning for years."

Charming, historic cottage with modern upgrades - stroll to dining & attractions

"The upper apartment of the cottage was nice for our family of 5. Location is perfect to reach either side of the harbor within a 7 minute walk. The cafe downstairs is a town favorite but only takes cash. FYI. The steps inside the apartment to the third floor are extremely steep and shallow so be mindful if you have any older people or younger people that can’t easily navigate ladder-like stairs. The closet spaces within the upstairs rooms are very limited but there are dressers in each room with ample space to unpack.One note: There is no bathroom on the third floor where the 2/3 bedrooms are so if you have to wake up at night, it’s a steep climb down to the single bathroom and back up, in the dark! The kitchen appliances are very limited and utensils/kitchen dishes are sparse. This is a problem that needs attention. There was one cereal bowl in the whole house. - there is a Roku speaker that is nice to have for days you may be spending inside and a nice long table for puzzles and card games. Overall, the place is clean and has a lot of charm in the beautiful Boothbay setting. "

"This home is situated on a quiet street, but within a half-mile walking distance to the shops, restaurants, and puffin cruise piers. The house is comfortable and well-equipped, with several nice extras. The house was very clean when we arrived. The location is perfect, and we enjoyed sitting outside by the cove."

"We had a great stay in Boothbay Harbor it’s such a beautiful area and the Snug Harbor rental is a very comfortable rental in a great location, it could use a little better cleaning here and there and there is very little usable cookware like skillets or oven pans for people like us who do like to cook when we rent a vacation home, everything I mentioned is a relatively easy and inexpensive fix which we mentioned to the management company that we were in contact with about these issues to no active response, I have nothing nice to say about Vacasa they contact you with a bot but never addressed any of our concerns, the property owner should be aware of how non responsive they are."

"This two bedroom, two bath 3rd floor apartment in the center of town is perfect! We walked to restaurants, shopping, and the waterfront-it’s all right there! One parking spot is about 1 1/2 blocks away but a quick walk and safe. The blue and white decor is just right for a harbor village. The apartment is equipped with everything you could possibly need, and everything was very good quality. I hope this apartment is available next time I visit Boothbay Harbor because I want to stay here again! "

"This was a wonderful home for big families. To celebrate my 80th birthday, my 4 grown children, their spouse and children joined me for a total of 11 plus a baby. Each family had their own space, using the boat house, oar house, ground level apartment and 3rd floor suite. The grandkids and I shared the 3 bedrooms on the second floor. There was plenty of space in the family room, dining room and living room for family time. We also enjoyed the dock overlooking the harbor."
"Room smelled strongly of old cooked food (Indian?). Windows were already left open to air the room out when we arrived. Luckily, we arrived early enough to run the fan for a couple of hours prior to going to bed. Room should not have been rented that day. Am continental buffet was good. Coffee was pretty good."

"We loved being in the heart of the bay. Jersey was a fabulous host who served me a delicious breakfast in the solarium overlooking the bay. The full kitchen with snacks on hand was nice. We enjoyed relaxing at the end of the day by the fire pit. We're so glad that we found this gem in Boothbay Harbor. "

"We loved this place. Beautiful new rooms with full fridge/freezer and k-cup coffee machine. Porch all around the building was so nice to have to breakfast and take-out dinner. The breakfast at this b&b were fantastic. You have a choice of three things the night before and they deliver to your room in the morning. We ate on the porch overlooking the harbor. 2 minute walk to town and shops and restaurants. No car needed once you’re there. Loved it. mark who took care of us was fantastic!"
