Sugar, soybean and onions are among the homegrown produce items. Locals affectionately call the area Sugar City, due to the prominence of its former main trade.

A knowledgeable tour operator will explain the spiritual meaning behind each temple. Climb to the top of the 108-foot (33-meter) High Temple for excellent views of the rainforest and the river.
