Cape Getaway

It was a great place to get together with my family. Having a private beach to walk to was a bonus. It had great views. The living and sleeping spaces were good. My only negative comment would be the condition of the deck.

Great location, private beach, within an easy walk

Location is great house somewhat dated but functional plenty of room for four or more people able to carry kayaks down to the beach and leave them till our departure

Beautiful view

The house was very big and the view was amazing. Waking up and looking out the window to the pretty sunrise was amazing. The dogs loved running around the yard. The only throwback was we had to pick several ticks off them so next time we'd be prepared with spray to deter that. There were some ants popping up on the kitchen counters as well but wasn't a huge problem. My friend stayed downstairs and was sneezing a-lot so I'm not sure if it wasn't thoroughly cleaned in between seasons or what. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook although we did bring our own pans and cooking utensils cuz you never know. The path to the beach area was a short 2 minute walk and well manicured. The weather was 50's and 60's so we just enjoyed the view. I would definitely come back in the summer to really enjoy that private beach.

Wonderful Cape Cod Location, Beautiful View

This house in Orleans is centally located on Cape Cod, allowing easy access to points of interest both north and south. Beautiful bay view and about a 5 minute walk to a private beach. The house was exactly as shown in the photos. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes, pots, etc.

Beautiful views

Easy walk to the private beach area with beautiful views from the house. There are other homes fairly nearby, but the home feels very private. We brought folding kayaks and carried them to the beach which worked great! It was just a short drive to restaurants and shops.

Great place, beautiful setting!

Nice house with all the basics set on a beautiful property. Quick walk to the bay beach, our 4-year old daughters loved it. Easy location with access to Orleans and the surrounding times.

Scenic stay at peaceful, quiet, beautiful, clean home.

Perfect location - quiet, had a private beach, very clean. Close to Nauset beach too, which had really big, scenic waves and was very quiet. We spent our time, walking on the private beach in the mornings and walking along Nauset and Marconi beaches in the afternoons, reading on the couches, watching the water and listening to the beautiful birds and smelling the flowering bushes and trees on the property. Some small items that maintenance should take care of - the private path to the beach is overgrown, so one has to use the more difficult, overgrown paths to the private beach. We used the upstairs shower all the time we were there. On our last morning, we noticed the downstairs shower doesn't have cold water, so the shower is really hot downstairs. We also opened the windows on our last day there and noticed one of the master bedroom windows in the upper floor had to be propped open, it doesn't stay open by itself. All of these were small, minor nits that didn't take away from the beautiful location, property and experience. Very rejuvenating staying here.

Perfect Getaway!

The view and location is the star of this property! This is exactly what we needed for a couples getaway. We were close to everything, spending our days exploring and our evenings relaxing with glass of wine looking out at calm waters!

For us it was a great location. Quiet.

It is a beautiful view and generous amount of space. Was disappointed in the upstairs shower water pressure and even though there was a ice maker it did not work.

Nice Weekend at the Cape

We enjoyed our stay in Orleans with our three children ages 17, 17 and 20. The house accommodated the entire family and it was nice to wake up to the water view. Thank you for letting us check out a bit late on Sunday.

Beach House

Lovely water views from the house near it’s own private beach. Located on Pleasant Bay, it was great for renting kayaking and paddle boarding. Dog walks with the kids were fun too. Comfortable house with stocked kitchen and new beds and near beaches and restaurants.
