“The Plough was in a lovely location. All the staff couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast and evening meals really good. Bedroom had everything you needed and room clean. Will definitely go back.”
“Great communication from the owner prior to arrival with details of local places to visit and eat.
Lovely welcome on arrival. Room was clean, comfortable and very spacious and the surroundings were beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic. Will definitely return and would highly recommend.”
“A two night stay for 10 people in 5 rooms in this beautiful well cared for period building. The staff were fantastic in dealing with a larger group and especially with our Gluten Free member. An open kitchen meant you could watch food being freshly prepared in the Seasons restaurant and chat with the Chefs.. Plenty of room both inside and out to relax with drinks, tea & coffee and scones or full Afternoon Teas. An easy access nature path within the grounds kept us occupied on one day with staff……
“Arrived Monday afternoon, member of staff said the chef had done a runner, on the Tuesday another member of staff said the chef had a day off, on the Wednesday another member of staff said the chef had taken an extra day off and offered us tea and coffee and cornflakes foc.
The bar closed at 5 so if you wanted an evening meal you had to order early, that is if the chef was in. Sorry i cant give this hotel a rating, and the shower was hopless.”

“Great location with safe car park.
Friendly staff, good beer selection with every type of Timmy Taylors available.
We stayed in the annex, which is new so very well decorated, clean and spacious.
Full English breakfast was delicious, would definitely recommend.”
“We arrived at the property to find that we had been double booked and no room was available as the property was now full. We had to find alternative accommodation in the area and we luckily found one property that had one room left.
Grassington lodge offered no help in finding alternative accommodation due to their error. Extremely disappointed with how it was all handled and how we was treated and we would never use or recommend this property in the future.”
“Although the restaurant and bar were closed during our stay, our accommodation, host and fancy hamper breakfast were exceptional. We loved the stylish, spacious and luxurious accommodation and the beautiful setting. Thank you, The Angel.”
“Food was excellent, staff very friendly. Small hotel with bar you could describe as the village Local.
Separate restaurant with good choice of high quality dishes.
Very small village with two shops ( postoffice and Rohan ). Train and Bus Links to Settle and Skipton.”
“A lovely place with a lovely welcome. The staff throughout were polite, friendly and helpful.
The hotel is beautiful and a stones throw from the canal and the park. It's only a short walk to town too.
The food was excellent with lots of choice especially at breakfast. They even brought my dog her own sausage.
Spotlessly clean and tidy.
No air con but there was a large fan in the room.
Beautiful outdoor court yard where people could dine if they wanted.
I'll definately return.”
“We had a fantastic stay❤️, The hotel was beautiful, rooms were perfect, exceptionally clean and spacious. The food was amazing.
Staff were very kind and courteous, nothing was to much trouble.
