"My wife and I greatly enjoyed our 2 week stay at "The Hermitage Cottage", which is actually a large home on the outskirts of Highlands, NC. It was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and is very spacious with a California King size bed in the master bedroom, (very comfortable) as well as several other large beds, and two bunk beds for kids. "What a hidden gem! On a gorgeous piece of property, this house feels remote yet is a quick drive to downtown Clayton. The home and views are even better than the VRBO listing photos.
