We would love to return sometime and recommend it for a mtn. get away. We took the train ride out of Bryson City on The Great Smokey Mtn. Train. It was a fun excursion for the day. Dillsboro and Sylva have quaint little shops and restaurants for a day of shopping and sightseeing.”

“What a beautiful location and home! We selected this spot for a weekend getaway for my husband's birthday with 2 other families, and it could not have been more perfect. We arrived on Friday afternoon and didn't leave the property until Sunday. There was so much to do with all the games in the basement (ping pong, air hockey, table shuffleboard), activities for the kids, space for them to play outside, hot tub, fire pit, and just sitting on the porch, enjoying the view. “We loved our stay at The Broken Twig. It’s quite a drive up the mountain to get there, so be aware of that and drive an appropriate vehicle that can handle it. Very comfortable furniture, both indoors and out, and the hot tub was so nice in the evenings after an active day. I will definitely book again. ”

“This Cabin has pretty much all you need to enjoy time in the mountains. Only wish there wasn't a fire ban at the time as the fire pit set up is fantastic. With a few updates, the cabin would be A. The host and owner were hands on and were there with any needs or wants. Any issues were resolved quickly and we enjoyed our stay. We even had the owner over for dinner after he quickly resolved something for us. Sylva is a great town. Thank you for a great time. ”

“Very cute and comfortable cabin. Wonderful views. Paved road up to the driveway was a real plus! Great for me and my husband and our beagle Buttercup. The pack porch has a gate and the railings are not open so you can have your dog sit outside with you easily. Had every amenity needed -including a paper clip!!! Very close to Dillsboro by car.
