“The room was clean but you could smell the room before you even opened the door. Wasn't sure if it was cleanser or air freshener or what but it was overwhelming and hard to relax. Also the room was so small you could barely walk around the beds to get to the sink (which was oddly far away from the bathroom) or the bathroom itself. Was not a welcoming environment in the room at all. The river in back was nice but the property itself is right off a main road with railroad tracks you have to cross……

“Door didn't lock securely, toilet seat broken, tiny microwave had food splattered inside, sink was very dirty, floor tile in the bathroom was dirty and one of the two beds had not been changed, and it was dirty. Room smelled bad. Additionally, it didn't appear that all the rooms that were occupied were held by travelers. It appeared to me there were people living in some of the rooms. We paid $200 bucks for a two-night stay. Decided we couldn't tolerate staying due to the dirty unsecure room. We……

“The room was new and clean but the mattress was foam and slept like a hammock. Killed my lower back. The room was relatively small and the layout of the counterspace was uncomfortable. When we checked in, the attendant was nice but not helpful at all. She was there to point me to click on a website to check in and that was it. I will not go back to Wells MOTEL. It's not a hotel, it's a renovated motel.”
