The Pacific Paradise is a popular rental home located in the sought after Dory Pointe subdivision and only 2 blocks to the beach. There are large over stuffed comfortable sofas in the living room and an open floor plan that allows for family and friends to gather and share new and old memories or watch the game on TV. There is a gas fireplace to stay cozy and warm. The beautiful kitchen is fully stocked and ready for delicious meals to be prepared. The Pacific Paradise is a 4 bedroom house with 1 king size bed and 3 queen size beds. Outdoors there is a deck with a picnic table, propane BBQ. Brand new hot tub on the deck. There is BLM land on east side of house where you will feel like you are in the trees. You will find a walking trail in the BLM Land. The same families return year after year. This beautiful home will easily become a favorite destination for your getaway and your pet companion is also welcome.

The immediate neighborhood is just a short walk away to several restaurants. There is so much to explore along Pacific City's unspoiled coastline including beach combing, whale watching, horseback riding, surf rentals or just sit relaxing next to the pounding surf. Bring your kayak to launch into the Nestucca River or rent one locally.

Pet fee is per pet, per stay. Multiple pets require multiple fees. Pets must please stay off the furniture and beds and never left alone inside the house or garage unless in a kennel. Pet limit is 2.

Over performance at the Oregon Coast
We rented the home with modest expectations. The property absolutely over performed and exceeded all expectations. The home is much nicer and newer than a standard weathered coast home with four bedrooms and a nice, well outfitted kitchen. The garage was retrofitted into an activity room. The hot tub and expansive space behind the home was a hit! The 6 minute walk to the beach was well worth it considering all this great home has to offer. Will rent again!

Overall the house was great. Trail behind the house gave easy access to friends staying at the RV park. Kids loved the garage space but it took some serious tech skills to figure out the DVD player/game system. Beds were high off the ground but comfy. Hit tub was a hit but somewhat creepy to be surprised by trail passerby. Make sure to bring your own coffee but there’s a pot and keurig. Kitchen is fully stocked with appliances/pots/pans. Only wish would be for a tea kettle. BBQ worked well but was gross and needed a clean first.

This is the first home rental I’ve been to in YEARS with great beds. We all slept so well! The kitchen was pretty well stocked and we cooked the entire time. There was plenty to do between the hot tub, movies, and game room. Plus, the location was amazing with a super short walk to Pelican Brewery, a marketplace, coffee shop, and the main beach.

The beds were comfortable. The kitchen utensils, pots and pans, glasses , silverware etc., was great. The fire pit off of the deck provided a gathering point every evening. Location was great.

We had a wonderful time together exploring the dunes, building castles in the sand and watching the dory boats come ashore to be picked up by trucks and trailers. When they occasionally got stuck in the deep sand, it was even more fun to watch!

Fantastic location and would stay again!
The beds here are quiet literally some of the most comfortable beds we have slept on. My sister is pregnant and is still complaining about how she isn’t sleeping as well as she was when we stayed here. These next few things are not negatives, it’s just hard to tell from the pictures/would have been nice to know: (1) the furniture in the living room is bulky so can be tight when there are 8 people. The nice thing is the game room in the garage is near, AND the furniture isn’t cheap so it’s very comfy. (2) the table is in sort of a cornered off place that it was hard for all of us to use. Well more than 5 at a time. (3) it was hard for some to get in and out of the hot tub. The hot tub is really tall and the wooden step is short. (4) It would have been nice to know there were a few things that were broken/damaged. I messaged the host to inform as I didn’t want to them to think we did it, and they informed me they knew about most. Overall would 100% stay here again. Thank you, Ellen, for promptly responding to all of my inquiries.

Amazing!
It was an amazing experience, easy check in, worth the price and had everything we needed. It was a beautiful relaxed neighborhood and we don’t mind walking to the small walk to the beach, it was close enough to walk to dinner if we wanted. The house was extremely clean and big enough for the 8 of us and overall We loved it and will save it as a #1 choice to book again.

Great time in PC. Location is great but the house could use some TLC.
First off, we really enjoyed our time in Pacific City. We visited with 4 adults, kids (5-9 years old) and our small dog. The house suited our family well but would have been a bit disappointing had it been just a group of adults. The highlights of the house are the proximity to the beach, the backyard facing the forest (great for kids and dogs) and the game room in the garage for kids. The kids had a great time. The downsides were the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the house. Many of the issues could be explained by the challenges of constant moisture and sand which would be difficult to stay on top of. But it seems like they could do more to make sure the house is good shape which would make their guests more comfortable. Then there were things that 100% should be fixed before a guest arrives. The kitchen faucet is visibly broken and beyond repair. It sprays all over since the push bottom for spray/stream is broken off and stuck between the two settings. It should’ve been fixed before we arrived. This compounded the problem of the dishwasher not working since we had to wash by hand all week. We tried a dozen or more times to get the dishwasher to work and it would run for a minute then abruptly stop. It was quite annoying. The sliding patio door is practically jammed and requires tremendous force to open it wide enough to go through. On top of that the screen door will not stay in the tracks. It was a constant issue having to open/close/fix the door so the kids could go in and out to the backyard. All of these issues could quickly be addressed with a bit of maintenance and might not be an issue going forward if prioritized. We still had a great time as we spent most of our time outside but if we were stuck inside during a stormy weekend these somewhat minor issues would’ve been quite frustrating. Pacific city is great. The house is family friendly and you’ll love your time. Just be aware of the maintenance issues before you book.

Fun place for our family of five!
The house was beautiful and well appointed. My kids loved the garage turned play room with mini basketball hoops and foos ball table. All the beds are weirdly high off the ground - we’re all tall people but still felt like we had to jump to get in the bed LOL the back yard is beautiful as well but not particularly private. The houses are close together and there’s a trail that goes behind each house, so people and pets were walking this trail at all hours. Our dog would go crazy and it was a little jarring to be watching tv and then people are walking right outside. All in all, this was a great house - light and airy and modern. We’ll definitely keep it in mind if we’re in the area again 😊
