"The food was good, as was the outdoor service and the service at Lahaina Noon. The staff member who checked us in was rude. Hotels.com lists a hot tub as an amenity on this property - there is no hot tub. Room service did not come on the day they were supposed to (service is every other day). When we called, they came, but not until later in the evening, when all four of us were trying to get ready for dinner. We had to make a few requests multiple times (we ran out of soap, needed an additional towel b/c they only had 3 in the room and 4 of us were staying there, etc.). The resort is nice, and access to the beach is great, but it is overpriced for what you get."

"This Hilton property has 6 Towers: Lagoon, Rainbow, Tapa, Ali’i, Kalia and Diamond Head. We booked a room with ocean view without knowing the condition of the condition of the buildings and got a room at Diamond Head, which was the only building that has not been renovated since it was built. The rest of the towers have been renovated we were told. The room was spacious but felt like staying at a two star hotel that had not maintained for decades. The bathtub and bathroom had a pipe blockage problem, and water would accumulate in the bathtub and the bathroom sink. To move to a renovated tower we had to pay USD90 per night! Avoid a room at Diamond Head!"
