This property is great! Reasonably priced Great breakfast Rooms are pretty small but are you going to Oahu to stay in a room? Didn’t matter to us ( 4 travelers-2 adults & 2 teens) We would stay here again.

Overall, the property was great! Perfect place to stay at while exploring the island. The pool and activity area were busy with kids and families up until late at night but for us, that wasn’t a big deal. We spent most of our time exploring rather than hanging at the hotel. Continental breakfast was super convenient and honestly, pretty delicious! They had some new options every day. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 starts but rather 4 is because our room smelled of mildew. The rooms have ACs and as soon as we walked in, it smelled bad. We slept one night with the AC on and then had to turn it off because of the smell. Once it was turned off, we had no issues. There is a ceiling fan in the room so we put that on high and it kept the room pretty cool for the rest of our stay. It would’ve been nice to use the AC and have the room freezing but we just couldn’t stand the smell. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Waikiki!

We enjoyed our stay, the kids loved the breakfast options. My morning view was breathtaking. There is only one downside, the parking situation is horrible.. there is very limited parking. Our first night, our flight landed at 7 p.m. after getting our rental car we went directly to the hotel. Checked in took about 10 minutes, which is not bad. We purchased to park onsite. The parking ramp is connected to the hotel. There was no parking. We were told to park at their partnered places. Everyone was full. We drove around until 10:30 p.m. tried the parking ramp again and found an employee leaving and was able to take their spot.. every day after, if we did not make it back by 4:30 p.m. we risked the chance of not finding a parking spot for hours
