“The host was attentive to our request before arrival, and again on the first day. The home is beautifully furnished and decorated. It feels like a museum of fine art. The upstairs bathroom with shower is really nice. There is a powder room downstairs. The beds are very comfortable. The kitchen is fantastic and has everything you need, and more! Easy walking distance to downtown. It's a great location. We highly recommend this VRBO home. Thank you very much! It's a treasure!”

While we managed to have an enjoyable weekend, the stay came with some challenges.Pros:Location & Views: The house offers a beautiful view of the lake and is conveniently close to Harper’s Ferry and Charles Town.Amenities: The hot tub was clean and relaxing—it was great they provided beach towels specifically for it. “With bedrooms and sitting rooms on 3 floors, our 3-generation family enjoyed having space to gather together as well as space for time apart. The decks allowed for additional places to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Lake access was great for swimming and kayaking.”
