“Voula, the host, is lovely, very friendly and helpful. We visited early in May, so the pool was still cold, but the garden surroundings in which it sits was a delight. There is a really sweet tabby cat that sits on the patio wall and wishes to be friends with you. Be kind to her and put out a little water (and maybe some food?). “This villa is a real gem. Absolute world class one of a kind experience. Peaceful, beautiful mountain views from a modern, private and well thought out house. The location was perfect and central. Only 20 minute drive from all of the pristine beaches around Plakias and 20 minute drive from Rethymno for shops and city life while enjoying Crete’s mountain vistas and nature.
