This villa is an absolute gem, and it truly delivered on every single promise. The villa itself was even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. “Voula, the host, is lovely, very friendly and helpful. We visited early in May, so the pool was still cold, but the garden surroundings in which it sits was a delight. There is a really sweet tabby cat that sits on the patio wall and wishes to be friends with you. Be kind to her and put out a little water (and maybe some food?). She will reward you tenfold.Pigi, the village is full of helpful people and it is easy to catch the bus at the far end of the village into Rethymno and from there, on……

“This villa is a real gem. Absolute world class one of a kind experience. Peaceful, beautiful mountain views from a modern, private and well thought out house. The location was perfect and central. Only 20 minute drive from all of the pristine beaches around Plakias and 20 minute drive from Rethymno for shops and city life while enjoying Crete’s mountain vistas and nature.
